While using a Clone Sergeant would've made this a pretty easy custom, I actually used a Hawkbat Clone that I really only bought for the unique stand. I used a green Sharpie - which isn't quite the same color as it should be - to mark him as a sergeant, and then repainted a Jango backpack and glued it on.
